The artists from A Coruña Lefrenk & The Panic Room repeat their alliance in this 2023 in which they will present a Live AV designed from scratch for a dome and in which musical and audiovisual creation have been developed hand in hand since its inception.

Lefrenk, promoter and benchmark of the local scene, is a producer from A Coruña with more than 100 references behind him. Founder of his own label together with Ikke Alra 'Deep Different', as well as a teacher at the Fanzine School.

The Panic Room for his part, is a versatile artist and cultural promoter who, based on photography, generates videos in which the aesthetics are conditioned by the cadence of work frame by frame, escaping from the usual synchronicities of the video format.

Behind Gnomalab hides Juanjo Fernandez Rivero, an artist that he himself is define como ‘artista formal’. Agitator, critic and restless, his art drinks from the influence of Generation X 'the lost generation', and its related historical events such as the advent of the internet, the the fall of the Berlin Wall, the end of the Cold War, and the beginning of other wars, such as the war of the Balkans or Iraq, and the emergence of AIDS. It captures this vital uneasiness, this lack of of expectations, this immobile rejection, delving into his own fetish themes: time, space, light, sound and the ephemeral.
Music, video, live cinema, software creation and, in particular, the creation of the main vehicles he uses to make his voice heard, a voice that has always self-taught, critical, committed, generous and singular, who flees from trends and the classic self-indulgences of the Art Institution.

Inspired by the phrase popularized by C. Sagan in the eighties "We are the Universe observing itself", we propose a landscape whose post-digital territory is constituted as a digital-mental Cosmos, immaterial and flat, representing unity; a self-scopy of the Universe that reflects on the unity of the Whole.

 

MIL111 is an artistic duo founded by visual artists Iria del Bosque (Vigo, 1981) and Borja Bernárdez (Vigo, 1982). Their work is situated in the field of new media art and reflects on the emotional and cognitive processes of the human being from an evolutionary metaphysical perspective. Through different formal proposals and the use of light, space and sound, they seek to reflect on the consciousness of being, its existence in the world and the multiple ways in which the human being fills the existential voids.

Cýra was born with the aim of materializing Verbose's trajectory in an experiential format. For this audiovisual performance, the result of the artist's experimentation with electromagnetic field recordings and the pixel mapping technique, he built his own lighting equipment, before and during his stay at the Matadero Art Residency Center. The work moves between surgical precision and the improvised narrative of acoustic and luminous spaces that communicate with each other.


Carlos Bravo (1991 Tui, Galicia) is an instrumentalist, sound, visual and instrument (hardware) designer. His work is based on the study, creation and experimentation of light and sound from its foundation, using different techniques such as acoustics, field recording, modular synthesis and programmable digital environments.

Dario Pérez and Alla Mikhaylova collaborate on the
creation of a new ALLOVA music video clip, which is scheduled for release during this year's Fanzine festival (the FPS-BPM section).
Although we cannot reveal many details at this time, we can reveal that the music video will incorporate state-of-the-art image post-production (VFX) and AI tools that will enhance the visual and creative quality of the production.

 Alla Mikhaylova, is a passionate and versatile artist who embraces diverse creative facets. Originally from Russia and currently residing in the region of Galicia, Spain, ALLOVA is not only an experienced singer and pianist, but also an outstanding producer and composer.

Darío Perez is a passionate and versatile Cuban artist who embraces the disciplines of music, photography and videography with an amateur approach.

An experimental piece, which presents a sensory journey through visual and sound stimuli.

MOM is an artistic collective from A Coruña formed by Óscar Domínguez, Manuel Fonte and Miryam Pato. We know each other doing our studies at the Escuela de Imaxe e Son de A Coruña, but our union as a group does not begin until 2018 when we decide to face the technical-artistic design of several shows and festivals in the city The three of us have our personal artistic projects, ranging from plastic and visual arts to musical composition. During the pandemic, the consumption of culture changed and we began to feel the need to explore the integration of technologies in art and develop spaces in which light and sound are always the protagonists.

The Kitsunés are Vero Faye and Carlos Kitsuné and are originally from New York and London. They are the cinematic and visual creators behind Vero's symphonic and DARK electronic project, C Z A R I N A. 

They moved to Galicia 3 years ago and have been working here ever since, always including the beauty and magic of the region in all their images. The Kitsunés have won awards at international film festivals, including Best Music Video of 2021 at the New York Film Awards for the music video "Wonderland", a celebrated piece inspired by the sacred and magical landscapes of Galicia. The Kitsunés continue to deliver their magical imagery with "The Fox's Wedding," an enchanted music film about love and curious wonders where East meets West under a blanket of stars, an ode to sacred roots and lineage.

Jairo Moreno was born in Madrid, has made many fashion campaigns, tourism campaigns for Pontevedra and music videos and concert and studio videos for a large number of artists. She currently lives in Santiago de Compostela and works as a freelancer doing fashion, events, videoclips, tourism, advertising...

He moves mostly in the field of animation, being the director of short films such as "Cartas a Superman", "Homomaquia", nominated for the Goya 2020 and "Sandwich Cat" (2022), his first digital animation short film using Blender as the main software.

He also advances along the path of advertising spots and video clips, making video clips for Delafé (Días y días, La gran ola) and for Bebo San Juan, musical alias of Emilio Aragón.

Boris Divider is a music producer, sound designer and visual composer from Madrid. His work focuses on progressive, sequential and minimalist electronic visual and sound material.

He has more than a decade developing electronic music, being one of the most relevant artists on the national and international scene.

He was also the founder of incipient labels such as Drivecom, Tesla Electronics and Subnet, culminating in 2014 with a label called Artificial Domain, through which he demonstrates his new facet in which he is committed to experimental music and avant-garde sound styles, also functioning as a platform for the creation of audiovisual content.

Álvaro Blanco, Raúl Santiago, Javier Buela and Nicolás Nieto, are the members of Músculo since 2012, a leading group on the Galician electronic scene.

Their sound delves into experimentation, while they explore the possibilities of facing the dance floor with analog instruments, seeking new textures and trends, without fear of exploring new sounds.

They arrive at this edition of the festival presenting their second LP: “Ulla”

Neil Hales, also known as Acidulant, is originally from Malta. His most popular music to date includes releases on Balkan Vinyl (UK), Acid Avengers (FR) and Jack Trax Records (US). 

Neil's recording debut began in 2015 and has not stopped growing during all these years, reaching its zenith from 2019 until now.

 

Although he is considered an 'acid freak', Neil's passion revolves around synths and experimentation in different genres and electronic sounds. Alongside his notable acid tracks, he has also collaborated with local visual artists, dancers, and actors under his alias Collateral Intelligence. Neil is also a co-founder of Electronic Music Malta (EMM), which is the first non-profit organization promoting electronic music in all its forms on the Maltese islands.

Eddie Symons is the man behind the Nullptr project. Nullptr. 

This Cambridge-based Brit is a producer making his debut in 2016 on the Detroit Underground label.


This artist's influences lie in 2000s IDM, where he originally released songs under the Bovaflux alias with Highpoint Lowlife Records. Those influences continue through his current material under his Nullptr alias, Nullptrwhich we can hear on highly respected labels like Central Processing Unit, Klakson, SolarOneMusic and Fanzine.

Alberto de la Calle, PUMU, is an artist from A Coruña, a clubber since he was a teenager and over a decade on the scene. 

During this time he has achieved his own style highly influenced by synth-pop, EBM, Techno, new-beat, electro sounds, which makes his sessions eclectic and dynamic with both avant-garde and rear-guard sounds and a great connection with music dance floor.

Yngryd is the aka behind Ingrid Celis, a Chilean artist living in Spain.

His refined selection and his technique allow him to function with ease in the most underground environments.

The Chilean dj has become a regular in our geography and also outside our borders, being a claim to festivals and established clubs.

Amulador is the man behind the illustrious Gare Porto club. 

Describes his project as an entity in motion. Ever circumspect, he activates the mechanism and plunges into the unknown.

Far from the hype and the enlightened figure associated with DJs, he prefers to display risky and non-conformist music, capturing the abstract essence and pulsating edges of current electronic music. 

 

It combines high bpm's with different perspectives, which can be melodic and subtle or rhythmic and biting.

Antelo began to play primitive Techno and Trance back in the early 90's in such emblematic clubs for dance music in Galicia as "Help", "Oh La La" or "Class".

After moving away from the booths for a while, he is today one of the most recognized diggers on the national scene, forming part of the Canela En Surco collective from afar. In addition to his more organic facet, Antelo is also one of the few DJs right now who carry the most soulful House and Broken Beat as their flag.

His well-received debut album 'Vital Heat' on Analogical Force saw him step away from the dance floor and expand his musical range in various directions, from laid-back piano pieces to frenetic breakbeat grooves. 

His acid-tinged live set is full of electronic breaks and memorable melodies, hallmarks of the british.

With more than 20 years of experience and being founders of the 'Several Roots' label, the Lagoon duo was born in 2016 with the desire to produce electronic music without any premise or reservation.

Since the beginning of the 2000s they have always been linked to the world of electronic music in parallel, either as DJs, as well as being interested in the world of production, with a live show characterized by a strong presence of hardware.

ROI could be defined as a cultural agent, who, beyond bringing a breath of fresh air to the dance floor, tirelessly seeks to renew the musical language with brilliant ideas that make that experience magical, unique, but above all, so much fun, as accessible and enriching.

Keith Farrugia, known as Sound Synthesis, is a Maltese sound designer, producer and composer.

With various releases on labels around the world, he is known for being one of the founding members of Electronic Music Malta, the first voluntary organization in Malta to promote electronic music in all its forms.

On the other hand, Toni, aka Digital Nature is also one of the founders of EMM and currently also works as Artistic Director of various festivals. With electronic music as his driving force, he developed his career in the audiovisual scene that later became creative coding. and interactive art.

Originally from the Netherlands, Steffi is a producer, dj and founder of her own label whose unwavering commitment to growing and challenging herself since the mid 90's has kept her at the forefront of contemporary electronic music.

Soon moving to Berlin, she managed to stand out on the local scene, which led her to have a residency at the emblematic Berghain club, an experience that has subsequently resulted in a continuous tour of clubs and international festivals, large and small, in which It has long been a staple.  

His session sounds are identical to those he promotes on his labels: Klakson, Dolly and Candy Mountain. Steffibets through them for an eclectic sound: electro, breaks, house and techno from Chicago and Detroit.
